These terms govern your use of houstontherapyservices.com (the "Site"), operated by Safer Waters Therapy. By using the Site you agree to them.

Informational only, not therapy

The Site provides general information about the practice and about mental health topics. Nothing on it is therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and reading it does not create a therapist–client relationship. A therapist–client relationship begins only when you complete intake and informed consent through Headway and we hold a first session.

Not for emergencies

The Site, its contact form, email, and voicemail are not monitored continuously and are not emergency services. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Eligibility

Services are offered to adults (18+) who are physically located in Texas during sessions, in accordance with Texas licensing law.

Third-party services

Booking, intake, and billing are handled by Headway under Headway's own terms and privacy policy. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; I don't control and am not responsible for their content.

Intellectual property

Content on the Site is owned by Safer Waters Therapy unless noted. You may share links freely; please don't republish content without permission.

Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safer Waters Therapy is not liable for damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The effective date above reflects the current version.
