This policy explains how Safer Waters Therapy ("Safer Waters Therapy," "I," "we") handles information collected through houstontherapyservices.com. It applies to this website only. Clinical records and the confidentiality of therapy are governed by Texas law, my professional ethics, and the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at intake, not by this page.
This website is not a clinical channel
The contact form and email address on this site are for general inquiries: questions about fit, availability, or insurance. They are not encrypted to health-care standards and are not monitored for emergencies. Please do not send detailed health information through them. Scheduling, intake forms, and billing happen on Headway, a HIPAA-compliant platform.
Information collected
- Information you provide. If you submit the contact form, call, text, or email, I receive what you share, typically your name, contact details, city, and a short message.
- Usage data. Like most websites, this site may collect standard, non-identifying analytics (pages visited, device type, referring source) to understand how the site is used.
How it is used
- To respond to your inquiry.
- To improve the website.
- Never for sale, and never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
The website is hosted on Vercel. Contact-form messages are delivered by an email service. Booking and billing are handled by Headway under its own privacy policy and HIPAA safeguards. These providers process data only to deliver their service.
Cookies
This site uses only the minimal cookies needed to function and, if analytics are enabled, standard analytics cookies. No advertising cookies are used.
Your choices
You can ask what information I hold from a website inquiry, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by contacting saferwaterstherapy@gmail.com. Requests about clinical records follow the separate process described in your intake paperwork.

This site and the practice serve adults (18+). No information is knowingly collected from children.
