Accessibility Statement
Effective September 2026
I want everyone to be able to use houstontherapyservices.com, including people who rely on assistive technology. This site is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and I work to keep it readable, navigable, and usable for all visitors.
What's in place
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, menus, and forms with visible focus
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative icons hidden from screen readers
- Color contrast that meets AA guidelines, and no information conveyed by color alone
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer it
- A layout that reflows on small screens without horizontal scrolling
Accessibility in sessions
Online sessions can be adapted to your needs: captions, screen-reader friendly links, phone instead of video, or other accommodations. Just ask.
